Jan 12 A great weather day

We had a memorial service for a friend of ours for about 20 years, Jim Kehler today so I took a little walk about with my camera's and a Bud Light to kind of reflect on things before going.

I went down by the creek behind our house and without the dogs got to do a little of extra investigations.  The kids continue to build their bridges as they have done for the last 22 years that we have been there.  The next flood just washes it all away.

This shot with my Samsung Galaxy

The next two shots with my Fujifilm FinePix S1000

Some of this is wash out from last heavy rains but the little cavern goes back a few feet so I am guessing some animal work is also involved.  Too root bound for kids to get it done.

Now back to the Samsung Galaxy

The next shot just to the left of the this shot but with my FUJIFILM FINEPIX S1000

As the water wares the top soil, here is what the root structure under ground looks like.

Same shot with FUJIFILM FINEPIX S1000

In this case the Samsung Galaxy clearly beat out the FUJIFILM FINEPIX S1000 as the pics from the FUJIFILM were not even were worth posting.

Above the drainage pipes the ground was too high for me to see over so I just reached my FUJIFILM above my head and shot this one.

At Jim Kehler's memorial Debbie had this crazy teen age cover for her phone I just had to give her a bit a razzing about it and she said "you ain't seen nothing yet when it comes to bling bling".  She was right so I took this shot.
