Jan 4 14, more of a work around the yard day

I had this long list of things to do.  And only got two done, the Christmas stuff in the barn and the house lights down.

I wanted to re-arrange the wood pile but did not get that done, getting down to not much left and big cold front coming in,  I will need to order more soon.

I also wanted to clear some of my path ways around the back and in the woods.  The last ice storm really played havoc on a lot of the foliage. 

This is a path to the deck in Earl's yard.  I need to cut back a lot here.  But not today.

From a different path here is the deck that is blocked by the foliage.

The leaves are piling up and I need to get to them, but again NOT today. 

I liked the way the light was hitting this.  

Have not used this since I think about Oct 2013.  It has a glass top that is why still so preserved.  Of course the glass comes off when using.

What is Val doing, using the Nikon 3100 with a 18 55 MM lens.  This is the problem with needing to swap lenses.  

These were shot with my Samsung Galaxy Internet camera at almost full zoom, so I will say at 15X zoom.

Of course Philip shows up just as Chicken is getting nearly done.  

Speaking off Chicken, here is it starting off on Charcoal grill for the charcoal flavor.

Now on the outdoor Char Broil Red convection gas oven.

The next shots do not do justice to what was happening.  The wind it getting so high that it was pushing all of the water out of the fountain.
